In the space provided below, please insert a general account of the company’s activities in the financial year to which the report relates, including a description of how they have benefited the community. ONE WILD GROUP CIC, ‘the company’, encourages and enables people in the town of Newhaven, East Sussex, to participate in outdoor activities. During the financial year 2025 to 2026, the company has benefited the community in the follow-ing ways: The Forest School sessions described in last year's report have continued, including the specialist sessions available for home educators and those with learning difficulties. Two local schools have benefited from workshops on exploring and birds of prey this year. The company continues to rally support for access to nature and outdoor activities, including with the sale and distribution of educational books. We provided weather workshops and group trips to adults
The company’s stakeholders are the residents of Newhaven and increasingly the wider Southeast of England. Newhaven is not in the nearby South Downs National Park; therefore, residents have taken it upon themselves to preserve what is left of Newhaven’s green spaces and biodiversity. Rapid development of greenfield sites in the area continues to rob young people of the opportunity to engage with nature
