During the financial year, Power Mobile Gym CIC continued to benefit children, young people and families through accessible boxing, mentoring, education, employment and community programmes. We provided free and subsidised boxing and fitness sessions, holiday activities, workshops, trips and mentoring, with a particular focus on young people from disadvantaged backgrounds and those at risk of exclusion, youth violence or anti-social behaviour. We engaged over 2,500 students through schools and community programmes, including boxing, self-defence, knife-crime awareness and personal development activities. We also provided work experience and employment pathways, helping young people develop skills and progress into volunteering, qualifications and paid roles. Our wider community support included food and essential-item provision, support for families experiencing financial hardship, and targeted mentoring and intervention for vulnerable young people. These activities support our overall purpose of using boxing and personal development to improve wellbeing, increase opportunities and bring communities together.
