Family Fun & Support Worcestershire CIC operates a free digital signposting platform (familyfunandsupport.com), bringing together local events, activity groups, and support services from across Worcestershire into one place, making it easy for parents to find what's available near them at no cost. In this financial year, the platform continued growing a strong social media following, helping more families discover this free resource. The CIC partnered with Worcestershire County Council Libraries on the Summer Reading Challenge, helping promote the initiative to local families and supporting engagement with the scheme. This work was recognised through sponsorship support from Worcestershire Libraries. The CIC also produced a community-facing digital magazine, giving local family-focused businesses and services a route to reach parents directly, and gathered feedback from local families through surveys and in-person engagement at community events to ensure the platform continues to reflect real local need. The service remains free for families to access, reflecting the CIC's founding purpose: to make it easier for parents to find local activities and support, addressing a gap the founder experienced firsthand.
Family Fun & Support Worcestershire CIC's key stakeholders are the local families who use the platform, and partner organisations including Worcestershire County Council Libraries and Best Start Worcestershire. The CIC consulted parents directly through surveys distributed via local community groups and in person at family events, gathering feedback on what activities and support services they were struggling to find. This feedback directly shaped the platform's structure and the categories of events and services signposted, ensuring the service reflects real local need.
