1.	Accounting policies

	Statutory information
	The company is a private company limited by shares and registered in England and Wales. The company's registered number and registered office address can be found on the Company Information page.

	Statement of compliance
	The financial statements have been prepared in compliance with FRS 102 Section 1A as it applies to the financial statements for the period and there were no material departures from the reporting standard.

	Basis of preparation
	The accounts have been prepared under the historical cost convention and in accordance with FRS 102, the financial reporting standard applicable in the UK and Republic of Ireland (as applied to small entities by section 1A of the standard).

	Functional and presentation currency
	The financial statements are presented in sterling and this is the functional currency of the company.

	Going concern
	Whilst the company has net liabilities, the directors believe that it is appropriate for the accounts to be prepared on a going concern basis as the shareholders have indicated that they will provide such support as necessary in order to ensure the company can trade for the foreseeable future. Without such support the ability of the company to trade successfully throughout the next 12 months may be in doubt.

Going concern

Whilst the company has net liabilities, the directors believe that it is appropriate for the accounts to be prepared on a going concern basis as the shareholders have indicated that they will provide such support as necessary in order to ensure the company can trade for the foreseeable future. Without such support the ability of the company to trade successfully throughout the next 12 months may be in doubt.

	Turnover policy
	Turnover is measured at the fair value of the consideration received or receivable, net of discounts and value added taxes. Turnover includes revenue earned from the sale of goods and from the rendering of services.

	Revenue from sale of goods
	Revenue from the sale of goods is recognised when the company has transferred to the buyer the significant risks and rewards of ownership of the goods, usually when goods are delivered and legal title has passed. Providing the amount of revenue can be measured reliably, it is probable that the economic benefits associated with the transaction will flow to the company and the costs incurred or to be incurred in respect of the transition can be measured reliably.

Revenue from sale of goods

4.	Related party transactions
	At the balance sheet date there was an interest free loan owing to the directors of £39,791 (2024 - £39,945) which is repayable on demand. At the balance sheet date, the company owed £19,724 (2024 £18,154) to Alice Strange Flowers Limited. The loan is interest free and repayable on demand. Miss A M Strange is a shareholder of Alice Strange Flowers Limited.
