Company activities and impact

Soar With Us train people in personal safety and self defence. Our purpose is to prevent or minimise the impact of violence against women and girls. During the financial year 2025 the company has benefitted the community in the following ways: Trained women and girls in personal safety and self defence. Run instructor training programmes where the new instructors go on to teach women and girls at domestic abuse service centres and refuges. Soar With Us has trained school pupils, domestic abuse survivors, teachers, general members of the community. The overall impact has been a greater awareness of the risks of violence and skills to help people feel more confident and empowered.

Consultation with stakeholders

The company's stakeholders are women and girls. The directors are regularly connecting with various agencies to share their training and working with these agencies to provide the best service for their clients. We have consulted with local councils to help provide training to more people by training more instructors. This would mean that the training would be available at no cost where necessary. We have had great response from a recently trained instructor that provides in-house training to survivors of domestic abuse. She has been able to provide regular classes in a trauma informed way. We will be extending this plan into the next financial year.
