INDUSTRIAL TECHNICAL HOLDINGS LTD

Notes to the Financial Statements

for the Period Ended 31 December 2025

  • 1. Accounting policies

    Basis of measurement and preparation

These financial statements have been prepared in accordance with the provisions of Financial Reporting Standard 101

    Turnover policy

Turnover represents revenue from contracts with customers. Revenue from the sale of precision parts, agricultural equipment and machinery is recognised when control of the goods transfers to the customer, generally on delivery at the customer's location, factory or port. Procurement service revenue is recognised when the customer receives the equipment and the related service obligation has been satisfied. Where the Group acts as agent for procurement services, revenue is recognised on a net basis.

    Tangible fixed assets depreciation policy

Property, plant and equipment is stated at cost less accumulated depreciation and impairment losses. Depreciation is calculated on a straight-line basis over the estimated useful lives of the assets: machinery 3–10 years, vehicles 4–10 years, computer and office equipment 3 years, and office furniture 5 years. Residual values, useful lives and depreciation methods are reviewed at each financial year end and adjusted prospectively where appropriate.

    Valuation information and policy

nventories are valued at the lower of cost and net realisable value. Raw materials are measured using the month-end weighted average cost method. Finished goods and work in progress include direct materials, direct labour and an appropriate proportion of manufacturing overheads based on normal operating capacity. Net realisable value is the estimated selling price in the ordinary course of business less estimated costs of completion and costs necessary to make the sale.

    Other accounting policies

The financial statements include accounting policies relating to consolidation, taxation, foreign currencies, leases, borrowing costs, financial instruments, impairment of financial and non-financial assets, cash and cash equivalents, treasury shares, employee benefits and events after the reporting period. Assets, liabilities, income and expenses of subsidiaries are consolidated and intra-group balances and transactions are eliminated. Foreign currency transactions are translated at the applicable exchange rates, with exchange differences recognised in accordance with the relevant accounting requirements. Lease liabilities and corresponding right-of-use assets are recognised where applicable. Financial assets and liabilities are measured in accordance with the Group's financial instruments policies and are subject to impairment where appropriate.
