Year Ending: 31 December 2025

Company activities and impact

The purpose of Butterfly Foundation Community Interest Company is to support and empower women, with a particular focus on women from ethnically diverse backgrounds in Tower Hamlets. During 2025, we delivered women only empowerment and confidence building workshops within the local community. The workshops were designed to help women recognise their strengths, overcome limiting beliefs, build self confidence and develop a greater sense of self worth. Through practical exercises, group discussions and guided activities, women were supported to set meaningful personal and professional goals, create clear action plans and identify positive steps they could take to move forward in their lives. The workshops also provided a safe and supportive environment for women to connect with others, share experiences and build supportive relationships within their community. Alongside the workshops, we provided personalised one to one coaching sessions for women who wanted additional support. These sessions focused on confidence, personal development, goal setting and helping women identify and overcome barriers that may have been preventing them from progressing. Our aim throughout the year was to help women feel more confident, empowered and in control of their future, while giving them practical tools that they could continue to use beyond the workshops. Any surplus generated by the organisation is reinvested into the CIC to support the continued delivery and development of services that benefit women within the community.
