CattleSkate Academy CIC is a Community Interest Company established to provide accessible skateboarding opportunities and activities within the local community. During the financial year, the company continued to provide free skateboarding sessions, coaching and community activities, with a particular focus on making skateboarding accessible to people who may otherwise face barriers to participation. The company delivered regular skateboarding sessions at Banff Skatepark and continued to develop opportunities for skaters of different ages and abilities. Sessions were delivered by appropriately qualified coaches, with equipment provided where required. The company utilised income and grant funding to support both the delivery of community activities and the longer-term development of local skateboarding facilities. This included working with professional skatepark contractors and designers to develop design proposals for the improvement and future redevelopment of the existing Banff Skatepark. The company also continued to develop relationships with community organisations, funders and other partners to support the ongoing provision and development of skateboarding activities and the improvement of local facilities. The directors are satisfied that the company has continued to operate in accordance with its community interest purpose and that its activities have benefited the local community. The directors remain committed to developing CattleSkate Academy CIC as a sustainable community organisation, expanding opportunities for participation in skateboarding and supporting the long-term improvement of local skateboarding facilities. The directors' responsibilities include maintaining proper accounting records and preparing accounts that comply with the requirements applicable to the company.
