During the financial year, Nines Health & Fitness Club CIC has continued to support the health and wellbeing of local communities through accessible physical activity, walking and community engagement programmes. Our regular Walk & Talk and community fitness sessions have encouraged people of different ages and backgrounds to become more physically active, while also helping to reduce social isolation and improve mental and social wellbeing. We have worked with local community organisations, health services and other partners to deliver walking activities, health and wellbeing events, community conversations and educational sessions. These activities have created opportunities for residents to connect with others, access health information and take positive steps towards healthier lifestyles. Our work particularly focuses on making physical activity welcoming and accessible to people who may experience barriers to traditional exercise or feel socially isolated. Through our activities, Nines Health & Fitness Club CIC has continued to promote our core message that Movement is Medicine, Every Step Counts and Health is Wealth, while strengthening community connections and encouraging healthier, more active lifestyles.
