Basis of preparation of financial statements
|
The financial statements have been prepared under the historical cost convention unless otherwise specified within these accounting policies and in accordance with Financial Reporting Standard 102, the Financial Reporting Standard applicable in the UK and the Republic of Ireland and the requirements and the Companies Act 2006 and the requirements of the Statement of Recommended Practice 'Accounting by Limited Liabilities Partnerships'. The disclosure requirements of Section 1A of FRS 102 have been applied other than where additional disclosure is required to show a true and fair view.
The financial statements are presented in Pound Sterling (£), which is also the functional currency.
The following principal accounting policies have been applied consistently throughout the financial year.
Consolidation
The company is the parent undertaking of a small group and as such is not required by the Companies Act
2006 to prepare group accounts. These financial statements therefore present information about the
company as an individual undertaking and not about its group.
The directors have assessed the Company's ability to continue as a going concern and have concluded that it is not appropriate to prepare the financial statements on a going concern basis.
Following the year end, the Company ceased trading on 17 June 2026 and the directors do not expect the Company to continue in operational existence for the foreseeable future. Accordingly, the financial statements have been prepared on a basis other than the going concern basis.
In preparing the financial statements, assets have been stated at their estimated recoverable amounts and liabilities have been stated at the amounts expected to be settled. Where appropriate, provisions have been recognised for costs and obligations arising from the cessation of trade. The directors have reviewed the carrying values of the Company's assets and liabilities and consider that the amounts disclosed in these financial statements appropriately reflect the amounts expected to be realised and settled.
Revenue represents income recognised by the company in respect of services supplied during the year, exclusive of Value Added Tax.
Revenue arose from activities performed within the United Kingdom.
All expenses have been accounted for on an accruals basis.
