COMMUNITY INTEREST ANNUAL REPORT

MUSLIM COMMUNITY RELATIONS CIC

Company Number: 16155930 (England and Wales)

Year Ending: 31 December 2025

Company activities and impact

Muslim Community Relations CIC was incorporated on 30 December 2024 and this is its first annual community interest report. The CIC was established to promote positive community relations and to support people in need in the Nuneaton community. It supports the community-focused work associated with Muslim Community Relations Nuneaton (MCR-N), including community outreach, engagement with the wider community and food support for homeless and vulnerable people. During the reporting period, the CIC received £1,058.19 representing the remaining funds of the predecessor informal, unincorporated and non-charitable community organisation. Those funds were transferred outright to the CIC, with no repayment obligation, to enable the community activities to continue within the new CIC structure. The CIC also received £52.00 of other donations, giving total income of £1,110.19 for the period. No expenditure was recorded in the company's accounts for the period and the funds remained available at 31 December 2025 for the CIC's community interest purposes. The intended community benefit is to relieve hardship, strengthen relationships between different parts of the local community and support constructive community engagement.

Consultation with stakeholders

The company's stakeholders include local residents, people experiencing homelessness or financial hardship, families, volunteers, local schools and community or voluntary organisations supporting local people. Stakeholder engagement is principally through direct contact with beneficiaries, volunteers and partner organisations connected with the community work. Informal feedback from those contacts helps the directors understand local needs and informs future activities. No formal written stakeholder consultation exercise was undertaken during this first reporting period.

Directors' remuneration

No remuneration was received

Transfer of assets

No transfer of assets other than for full consideration
