| 2. | ACCOUNTING POLICIES |
Basis of preparing the financial statements
Turnover
Turnover is measured at the fair value of the consideration received or receivable, excluding discounts, rebates, value added tax and other sales taxes.
Tangible fixed assets
Tangible fixed assets are initially measured at cost and subsequently measured at cost or valuation, net of depreciation and any impairment losses.
Depreciation is recognised so as to write off the cost or valuation of assets less their residual values over their useful lives on the following bases:
Land and buildings (leasehold) - fully depreciated
Plant and equipment - 20% straight line
Fixtures and fittings - 20% straight line
Computer equipment - 33% straight line
The gain or loss arising on the disposal of an asset is determined as the difference between the sale proceeds and the carrying value of the asset, and is credited or charged to profit or loss.
Investments in subsidiaries
Investments in subsidiary undertakings are recognised at cost.
Stocks
Stocks are stated at the lower of cost and net realisable value. Cost comprises the purchase price of goods and, where applicable, import duties, carriage and other costs directly attributable to bringing the goods to their present location and condition.
Net realisable value represents the estimated selling price less any costs expected to be incurred in completing and selling the goods. Provision is made, where necessary, for obsolete, slow moving and damaged stocks.

| 2. | ACCOUNTING POLICIES - continued |
Taxation
Taxation for the year comprises current and deferred tax. Tax is recognised in the Income Statement, except to the extent that it relates to items recognised in other comprehensive income or directly in equity.
Current or deferred taxation assets and liabilities are not discounted.
Current tax is recognised at the amount of tax payable using the tax rates and laws that have been enacted or substantively enacted by the balance sheet date.
Deferred tax
Deferred tax is recognised in respect of all timing differences that have originated but not reversed at the balance sheet date.
Timing differences arise from the inclusion of income and expenses in tax assessments in periods different from those in which they are recognised in financial statements. Deferred tax is measured using tax rates and laws that have been enacted or substantively enacted by the year end and that are expected to apply to the reversal of the timing difference.
Unrelieved tax losses and other deferred tax assets are recognised only to the extent that it is probable that they will be recovered against the reversal of deferred tax liabilities or other future taxable profits.
Pension costs and other post-retirement benefits
The company operates a defined contribution pension scheme. Contributions payable to the company's pension scheme are charged to profit or loss in the period to which they relate.
Going concern
The financial statements have been prepared on a going concern basis. The company incurred a loss of £226,285 for the year ended 31 December 2025 and at that date had net current assets of £169,158.
In assessing the appropriateness of the going concern basis the directors have considered the companys financial position, its current level of trading and the continued financial and operational support available from its immediate parent undertaking, Paged Meble Sp. z o.o.
Paged Meble Sp. z o.o. has confirmed its intention to continue providing financial support to the company for a period of not less than 18 months from the date of its undertaking. This includes providing sufficient financial resources to enable the company to pay its liabilities as they fall due and not seeking repayment of amounts due to it where doing so would result in the company being unable to meet its other liabilities.
Having regard to the above the directors have a reasonable expectation that the company will have adequate resources to continue in operational existence for the foreseeable future.
Accordingly, they continue to adopt the going concern basis in preparing the financial statements.
