Achievements in 2025 During 2025, Awaken Genius delivered a range of community-based programmes and activities, creating opportunities for children and families to engage in creative, educational and wellbeing-focused experiences. Six-Month After-School Intervention Programme We delivered a six-month after-school intervention programme providing children with structured opportunities to develop emotional, social and creative skills through engaging activities. The programme incorporated creative arts, movement, play and educational approaches, supporting children's participation, self-expression and confidence. Summer Programme at Ferry Lane We delivered a Summer Programme at Ferry Lane, combining creative arts, educational activities and opportunities for children to learn, play and connect with others during the school holidays. The programme provided a safe and engaging environment for children and families and supported continued access to positive activities during the summer period. Building Community Families Wellbeing Day We organised a Building Community Families Wellbeing Day, bringing families together through activities focused on connection, creativity and wellbeing. The event created opportunities for families to access supportive activities within their local community and strengthened engagement with Awaken Genius and its wider network of partners. 2025 Impact Across these activities, Awaken Genius engaged multiple children and families and continued to develop its community presence. Our 2025 work strengthened our understanding of the needs of local children and families and provided a foundation for developing longer-term, integrated programmes that combine education, enrichment, therapeutic support and family engagement.
