COMMUNITY INTEREST ANNUAL REPORT

MISSING PEACE WELLBEING + SUPPORT COMMUNITY INTEREST COMPANY

Company Number: 13222020 (England and Wales)

Year Ending: 28 February 2026

Company activities and impact

This year we have continued to provide our peer support services including groups and 1:1s. We have increased the number of WRAPs delivered including Saturday WRAP course for people unable to attend during the week. We have piloted WRAP courses in North Yorkshire with one in a rural village and one WRAP at a college for 16–18-year-olds who are neurodiverse or having learning disabilities. We have also provided volunteer opportunities to help on WRAP courses for people who have done WRAP Seminar 1 course, so they can get experience and to train facilitators from other organisations. We have trained 5 new WRAP facilitators with 3 of these delivering WRAPs in North Yorkshire. We have run the 2 yearly re-certification for Intentional Peer Support as well as training 2 new volunteers. The Safe Spaces provision lost funding in June 2026; however, we were able to secure 2 years funding from the National Lottery from August 2026 to set up our own drop-in service and have been able to offer a more structured session and increase the volunteer opportunities to help out at this provision. We continue to be one of the partners at the Mental Health Transformation Project alongside 3 other local community partners and the mental health providers at the Manningham Wellbeing Hub. We have continued to run the Men's Mental Health Camp, offer mental health first aid/suicide first aid/ self-harm first aid support and peer supervision to people external to the organisation. We continue to do key-note speeches at local organisations and provide consultancy to organisations developing and designing psychiatric hospitals and the services and products used by them. For the 5th year running we ran the Christmas Day event for people on their own, offering spaces to 70 people, doing lunch, gifts, entertainment and chance for social interaction. We have been involved in a number of events over the year to raise mental health awareness, with local organisations as well as Keighley Town Council and the Keighley Walks Festival. We continue to offer support to both adults and young people, and we have 4 new volunteers.

Consultation with stakeholders

We were finalists at the Keighley & Airedale Business Awards, for the Social Enterprise Organisation of the Year and one of the team was a finalist for Rising Star of the Year Award. Although we didn’t win these awards, we did unexpectedly win an Outstanding Services to the Community Award. We continue to receive good feedback about the WRAP courses and the demand for these are increasing including from other areas local to the Keighley Community.
