During the financial year, the foundation has continued to focus on empowering young people, strengthening schools, and improving mental health and wellbeing within the wider community. Through our mental health and mindset workshops, we have supported young people to develop greater confidence, resilience, self-belief, leadership skills, and a stronger sense of identity and purpose. Our sessions create safe and supportive environments where young people feel able to speak openly about the challenges they face, while providing them with practical tools to manage their emotions, mindset, and overall wellbeing. Our work within schools has included workshops and school assemblies, enabling us to reach larger numbers of young people and encourage open, positive conversations around mental health, resilience, confidence, choices, and asking for help. This work also supports schools in developing stronger cultures of connection, understanding, and wellbeing. Beyond schools, we deliver free mental health and mindset workshops at Young Offender Institutions, boxing gyms, and rugby clubs. By taking our programmes into environments where young people already feel connected and engaged, we are able to make mental health support more accessible and reach individuals who may not otherwise seek or have access to this type of support. We also collaborate with other charities and organisations working in mental health, sharing knowledge, resources, and opportunities to extend our collective reach and provide greater support to young people and communities. Across all of our activities, our aim is to break down the stigma surrounding mental health, encourage people to speak openly about how they are feeling, and give young people the confidence, mindset, and practical tools they need to overcome challenges and make positive choices for their future.
The foundation has three primary stakeholders Rebecca Sampson, Suaia Matagi, Quentin Togagae Consultation with Stakeholders Consultation takes place through weekly meetings attended by all three stakeholders. These sessions provide a structured space to discuss the foundation’s direction, explore opportunities for improvement, and identify priority areas for development. The regular nature of these meetings ensures that feedback is continuous and directly embedded into decision-making processes. Actions Taken in Response to Feedback As a direct result of stakeholder consultations, the foundation has implemented several key improvements: Simplification of Prison and school programmes: Programmes have been streamlined to en-sure greater clarity and effectiveness. Affordable pricing, pricing structures have been revised to make programmes more accessible and affordable for schools and organisations.
