BBJ Therapy has extensive experience supporting disadvantaged members of the community, particularly those who may otherwise struggle to access therapeutic support. Counselling sessions provide clients with the opportunity to explore concerns affecting any area of their lives, including suicidal thoughts, depression, anxiety, other mental health challenges, abuse and relationship or marital breakdown. BBJ Therapy works at each client’s individual pace, maintaining clear professional boundaries and confidentiality while providing a safe, supportive and non-judgemental environment.
BBJ Therapy’s primary stakeholders are clients experiencing mental health challenges who reach out for professional counselling and emotional support. We aim to make our services accessible by offering several ways for individuals to contact us, including referrals from other organisations or professionals and direct enquiries through our website. Once contact has been made, an initial assessment will be completed to understand the client’s needs, circumstances and expectations. Where appropriate, a counselling session will then be arranged at a mutually convenient time. Each client will be treated with dignity, compassion and respect, and support will be provided at their own pace within clear professional boundaries and confidentiality. Although the number of clients currently accessing the service is limited, we expect demand to grow gradually as awareness of BBJ Therapy increases and stronger referral pathways are established. We will continue to promote the service, develop relationships with community organisations and ensure that people know how and where to seek support when they need it.
