Compliance with accounting standards
The accounts have been prepared in accordance with the provisions of FRS 102 Section 1A Small Entities. There were no material departures from that standard.
The principal accounting policies adopted in the preparation of the financial statements are set out below and have remained unchanged from the previous year, and also have been consistently applied within the same accounts.
The accounts have been prepared under the historical cost convention as modified by the revaluation of certain fixed assets.
The accounts are presented in £ sterling.
At the reporting date the company had net liabilities of £22,844 and net current liabilities of £220,038. Included within current liabilities is an amount of £199,956 due to the director.
The director has confirmed that he will continue to provide financial support to the company and will not seek repayment of amounts due to him to the extent that repayment would prejudice the company’s ability to meet its liabilities as they fall due, for a period of at least twelve months from the date of approval of these financial statements.
Having considered forecast rental income, mortgage repayments and other liabilities, the director considers that the company has adequate resources to continue in operational existence. The financial statements have therefore been prepared on the going concern basis.
Turnover represents rental income receivable during the year, excluding amounts collected on behalf of third parties. Rental income is recognised on a straight-line basis over the term of the lease.
Investment property is property held to earn rental income and/or for capital appreciation. Investment property is initially measured at cost and subsequently measured at fair value at each reporting date. Changes in fair value are recognised in profit or loss.
The company only enters into basic financial instrument transactions that result in the recognition of financial assets and liabilities such as debtors, cash at bank, bank loans and amounts due to the director.
Basic financial instruments are initially recognised at transaction price and subsequently measured at amortised cost using the effective interest method, less any impairment in the case of financial assets.

Notes to the Accounts

Correction of prior-period classification
In the financial statements for the year ended 31 January 2025, an amount of £193,801 due to the director was incorrectly presented within creditors falling due after more than one year. As the amount was interest free and repayable on demand, it should have been presented within creditors falling due within one year.
The comparative figures have therefore been restated by increasing creditors falling due within one year by £193,801 and reducing creditors falling due after more than one year by the same amount. The reclassification has no effect on the loss for the year or the net liabilities reported at 31 January 2025.
