During the financial year,Proserve Management Solutions.com CIC (PSMS) continued to develop its community support activities while operating primarily through voluntary contributions of time and expertise from its Directors and associates and financial support provided through Director’s loan funding. The Directors and associates contributed their professional experience and time without PSMS having the resources of a fully funded community organisation. This enabled the Company to provide assistance to vulnerable members of the community while developing its organisational infrastructure, partnerships and future service model. Activities included community advocacy and casework support; assistance for elderly and disabled individuals; welfare and benefits-related guidance; translation and digital support; support for migrant communities; homelessness referrals; multi-agency liaison; mentoring and educational guidance; and support and appropriate referral for individuals experiencing mental health difficulties, domestic abuse and other vulnerabilities. The Company’s Circle of Wisdom initiative has also sought to recognise older people as active contributors to their communities rather than simply recipients of services, encouraging elderly participants to share their experience and contribute towards identifying practical solutions to issues affecting individuals and families within the community
PSMS actively consults with its stakeholders to ensure that its activities remain responsive to the needs of the communities it serves. Consultation is an ongoing part of our approach rather than being limited to a single annual exercise. Stakeholders include elderly and disabled people, vulnerable individuals and families, migrant communities, carers, volunteers, Directors, professional associates, community representatives and organisations involved in providing statutory or voluntary support. Feedback is gathered through direct discussions with service users, individual casework, community engagement, referrals, meetings and informal consultations. The issues identified through this engagement help PSMS understand gaps in existing services and shape the support, advocacy and referral services it provides. Our **Circle of Wisdom** initiative provides an additional mechanism for consultation with older people. It encourages elderly participants not simply to receive support, but to share their experience, identify problems affecting their communities and contribute ideas and practical solutions. PSMS also engages with relevant external stakeholders through its casework and multi-agency activities, including local authorities, housing and homelessness services, health and social care services, educational establishments and other community and voluntary organisations.
