Notes to the Financial Statements
1. General Information
Diamond Realisations Limited is a private company, limited by shares, incorporated in England & Wales, registered number 00688402 . The registered office is 9 Pine Grove, Bricket Wood, St Albans, AL2 3ST.
2. Accounting Policies
2.1. Basis of Preparation of Financial Statements
The financial statements have been prepared under the historical cost convention and in accordance with Financial Reporting Standard 102 section 1A Small Entities "The Financial Reporting Standard applicable in the UK and Republic of Ireland" and the Companies Act 2006.
2.2. Going Concern Disclosure
The directors have given consideration to the cash flow forecasts and budgeted profitability of the company for a period of not less than 12 months from the date of approval of these financial statements. Based on this the directors are of the opinion that the company is a going concern and therefore that it is appropriate to prepare on a going concern basis.
2.3. Investment Properties
All investment properties are carried at fair value determined annually and derived from the current market rents and investment property yields for comparable real estate, adjusted if necessary for any difference in the nature, location or condition of the specific asset. No depreciation is provided for. Changes in fair value are recognised in the income statement.
2.4. Foreign Currencies
The financial statements have been presented in US Dollars, which is also the functional currency of the Company. As a matter of industry convention, diamonds have for many years been priced in US Dollars. As substantially all the group’s income is charged and received in US Dollars the directors feel that US Dollars is the functional currency of the company. The year-end exchange rate is $1.3472 to £1 (2024: $1.2515 to £1).
Transactions in foreign currencies are recorded at the rate ruling at the date of the transaction.  Monetary assets and liabilities denominated in foreign currencies at the statement of financial position date are translated at the rates of exchange prevailing at that date.  All exchange differences are included in the profit and loss account.
2.5. Taxation
Income tax expense represents the sum of the tax currently payable and deferred tax.
The tax currently payable is based on taxable profit for the year. Taxable profit differs from profit as reported in the statement of comprehensive income because of items of income or expense that are taxable or deductible in other years and items that are never taxable or deductible. The company's liability for current tax is calculated using tax rates that have been enacted or substantively enacted by the end of the reporting period.
Deferred tax is recognised on timing differences between the carrying amounts of assets and liabilities in the financial statements and the corresponding tax bases used in the computation of taxable profit. Deferred tax liabilities are generally recognised for all taxable timing differences. Deferred tax assets are generally recognised for all deductible temporary differences to the extent that it is probable that taxable profits will be available against which those deductible timing differences can be utilised. The carrying amount of deferred tax assets is reviewed at the end of each reporting period and reduced to the extent that it is no longer probable that sufficient taxable profits will be available to allow all or part of the asset to be recovered.
Deferred tax assets and liabilities are measured at the tax rates that are expected to apply in the period in which the liability is settled or the asset realised, based on tax rates (and tax laws) that have been enacted or substantively enacted by the end of the reporting period. Deferred tax liabilities are presented within provisions for liabilities and deferred tax assets within debtors. The measurement of deferred tax liabilities and assets reflect the tax consequences that would follow from the manner in which the Company expects, at the end of the reporting period, to recover or settle the carrying amount of its assets and liabilities.
Current and deferred tax are recognised in profit or loss for the year, except when they relate to items that are recognised in other comprehensive income or directly in equity, in which case current and deferred tax are recognised in other comprehensive income or directly in equity respectively.
2.6. Group financial statements
The company has taken the exemption under Section 398 of the Companies Act 2006 from preparing consolidated financial statements.
2.7. Investments
Investments are stated at cost less accumulative provision for impairment.
3. Average Number of Employees
Average number of employees, including directors, during the year was: NIL (2024: NIL)

$
Fair Value
As at 1 January 2025 310,000
Revaluations (37,500)
As at 31 December 2025 272,500
The investment property is a leasehold property located in Israel. The fair value is measured and revalued each year. The leasehold property was revalued in both 2024 and 2025. In 2024 this was determined by an independent valuer based on market-based sales price per square meter. The 2025 value is based on an actual sale amount achieved subsequent to the year end.
The post‑year‑end sale provides evidence of the fair value of the property at the reporting date and has therefore been treated as an adjusting event.
