The National Social Marketing Centre was set up to build social marketing capacity internationally across government and non government sectors through training, strategic consultancy and dissemination of best practice and publications. During the financial year ended 31 December 2025 we have achieved this through the following activities: Continuing to maintain and support our website www.thensmc.com which contains free-to-use resources on developing social marketing programmes, along with a collec-tion of case studies. These case studies have now been added to a new website of case studies run by the International Social Marketing Association. During 2025, we upgraded the website platform to allow continual access to the resources. John Landels of the NSMC continued to serve as Secretary and Treasure to the Board of the European Social Marketing Association on the pro-bona basis. John Landels continued to work as a tutor on the online International Social Marketing Association's Introduction to Social Marketing training course. In September 2025, the NSMC participated in the Slovenian National Health Institute of Public Health (NJIZ) annual conference, running a pro-bona workshop on Social Mar-keting. Attended the 2025 World Social Marketing Conference in Alicante, Spain and ran a two-day Introduction to Social Marketing Workshop with 20 participants. Both John Landels and John Bromley joined the planning committee for the 2026 Euro-pean Social Marketing conference in Montpellier, France The continuing delivery of our certified Social Marketing training courses. We trained 20 participants form Plymouth Public Health and 10 participants from the Republic of Ireland. The continuing provision of mentoring support to organisations delivering behaviour changes projects including Suffolk Public Health, the NHS Wales Executive and Luton Public Health.
The company's stakeholders are the company's clients and users of its services and online resources. At the end of all our client projects we ask for feedback on the impact of The NSMC and we also measure the behaviour change impact generated by each project. We continue to monitor usage of The NSMC website through Google Analytics and adapt the website content accordingly.
