Additional information
The directors are responsible for preparing the Directors’ Report and the financial statements in accordance with applicable law and regulations. Company law requires the directors to prepare financial statements for each financial year. The directors have elected to prepare the financial statements in accordance with United Kingdom Generally Accepted Accounting Practice, including FRS 102 Section 1A. The directors must not approve the financial statements unless they are satisfied that they give a true and fair view of the state of affairs of the company and of its surplus or deficit for the period. In preparing the financial statements, the directors are required to select suitable accounting policies and apply them consistently, make judgements and accounting estimates that are reasonable and prudent, and prepare the financial statements on the going concern basis unless it is inappropriate to presume that the company will continue in business. The directors are responsible for keeping adequate accounting records that are sufficient to show and explain the company’s transactions and disclose with reasonable accuracy at any time the financial position of the company, and for safeguarding the assets of the company and taking reasonable steps for the prevention and detection of fraud and other irregularities. This report has been prepared in accordance with the special provisions relating to companies subject to the small companies regime within Part 15 of the Companies Act 2006.

During 2025 Tidal Tales Collective CIC delivered and developed participatory arts projects for children, young people, families and new parents, using music, storytelling, theatre and design. The main activities and community benefits were: New Stories (June–October): supported by £16,100 from The National Lottery Community Fund. Interactive sensory sessions for parents/carers and babies aged 0–2 combined nature imagery, stories, live and looped music, gentle seated yoga and breathing. The sessions were designed as supportive shared experiences promoting emotional wellbeing, relaxation and parent–baby connection; at least one public session was offered free. Green Gamers: supported by a £3,500 Youth Climate Action Fund award. The CIC developed creative music, storytelling and game-based material to help young people engage with climate, nature and environmental themes. The Witch's Spell: eight timed family performances over 31 October and 1 November at Page Park, Bristol. The 30–45 minute experience combined live music, beatboxing, theatre and an outdoor quest/trail, bringing participatory family arts into a local park and community setting. Little Folk Music: family live-music events at Front Room Theatre, Trinity Community Arts and Arnos Vale, giving young children and their families relaxed, child-friendly opportunities to experience live music together. Across these projects the CIC commissioned freelance musicians, facilitators, performers, producers and designers, helping to sustain paid creative work as well as providing arts, environmental-learning and wellbeing experiences for the community.
No consultation with stakeholders
