Directors' report period ended
The directors present their report with the financial statements of the company for the period ended 30 November 2025
Principal activities of the company
Additional information
GOING CONCERN. At 30 November 2025 the company had net liabilities of GBP 16,962, net current liabilities of GBP 7,899, and cash at bank of GBP 1. The company made a loss of GBP 15,602 in the year. The company is dependent on two sources of continuing support. First, the director and her immediate family, whose loans outstanding at the year end totalled GBP 9,063, have confirmed that they will not seek repayment for a period of at least twelve months from the date of approval of these financial statements and will continue to provide such support as the company reasonably requires. Second, the landlord of the company's leased property, to whom GBP 7,100 of rent was outstanding at the year end, has agreed that the arrears may be paid over time rather than on demand. Since the year end the company has continued to meet its monthly rent and has reduced the arrears. The director has considered these matters and, on the basis of that continuing support, considers it appropriate to prepare the financial statements on the going concern basis. Were either the family support or the landlord's forbearance to be withdrawn, the company would be unable to meet its liabilities as they fall due and would not be able to continue. Adjustments would then be required to the carrying value of its assets and liabilities. This represents a material uncertainty which may cast significant doubt on the company's ability to continue as a going concern. COMPANY STATUS. The company is a private company limited by guarantee without share capital, incorporated and registered in England and Wales. Prior year financial statements described the company as limited by shares and referred to shareholders' funds. That description was incorrect and has been corrected in these financial statements. The correction is one of description only and has no effect on any reported figure; the comparative amounts are unchanged from those filed.

During the year, Inclusiville Empower CIC provided accommodation to people who were homeless, at risk of homelessness or experiencing difficult circumstances. The CIC provided housing to two young men who were experiencing mental health difficulties and drug addiction. They were accommodated for approximately six months. The CIC also housed two older men who had been homeless and were experiencing alcohol and drug addiction. They were provided with accommodation for approximately four months. The CIC also provided accommodation to a single father with three children who was at risk of becoming homeless. The family has now been housed for almost a year. Having a stable home has allowed the children to remain settled and attend school, while their father has had peace of mind knowing that his family has somewhere safe to live. He has also been able to work part-time. Through providing accommodation, the CIC has helped vulnerable individuals and families who were facing homelessness or housing insecurity. The accommodation provided a safe and stable place to live and helped people have greater stability in their circumstances. The main community benefit during the year was providing housing to people who otherwise had nowhere suitable to live or were at risk of homelessness, including vulnerable adults and a family with children.
The company's stakeholders are the individuals and families it accommodates, the neighbours and wider community local to its properties, and the housing and support organisations that refer residents to it, principally MLO Housing Ltd. During the year the company received direct feedback from neighbours, who made a number of complaints about disturbances at one of its properties. There were also incidents involving the police, damage caused to the property, and a fire incident. In response the company reviewed the placement and spoke with the residents concerned. Accommodating the two men together was not working, and the company asked one of them to leave where his conduct was placing the property and the neighbourhood at risk. The company then changed the way the property is used, accommodating a single family rather than multiple unrelated adults. Following that change, the neighbours who had previously complained are satisfied with the current arrangements. The family has settled and the children are attending the local school.
