General information

Shirping World Resources Limited is a private company, limited by shares, incorporated in Northern Ireland, registration number NI629069. The registered office is 101 Antrim Road, Lisburn, BT28 3EA.

The principal activity of the Company during the year was the creation of literary works.

Average number of employees

The average monthly number of employees, including directors, during the year was 4 (2024 - 4).

The director considers that the Company is entitled to exemption from audit under section 477 of the Companies Act 2006 and members have not required the Company to obtain an audit for the year in question in accordance with section 476 of the Companies Act 2006.

The director acknowledges her responsibilities for complying with the requirements of the Companies Act 2006 with respect to accounting records and the preparation of financial statements.

These financial statements have been prepared in accordance with the provisions applicable to entities subject to the micro-entities' regime.

The financial statements have been delivered in accordance with the provisions applicable to companies subject to the small companies regime.

The financial statements were approved and authorised for issue by the board and were signed on its behalf on 25 September 2026.

Going concern

The Director of Shirping World Resources Limited has reviewed the resources available and believe that the company has adequate resources to continue in operational existence for the foreseeable future.

Accordingly, Shirping World Resources Limited continues to adopt the going concern basis in preparing the financial statements.

3.	Controlling party

The directors consider that there is no ultimate controlling party. The entire issued share capital of the company is held by members of the McBratney family. However, no individual or legal entity is deemed to have significant control as defined under the Companies Act 2006. A statement to this effect has been filed with Companies House in accordance with the statutory requirements.
