Year Ending: 31 December 2025

Company activities and impact

Community Resources has continued to provide meaningful benefits to the local community throughout the financial year through a range of environmental, educational, and community-focused activities involving our service users. Our involvement in the local community has included helping to keep the town's public park clean and well maintained, creating an attractive and welcoming environment for residents and visitors. Service users have also designed and produced seasonal decorations that are displayed for the public to enjoy throughout the year, helping to enhance community spaces and promote inclusion. We have encouraged sustainability and healthy living through our gardening projects, where service users grow their own vegetables. The produce is then used in cooking activities at our facilities, providing opportunities to develop practical life skills while promoting healthy eating. Meals prepared from the vegetables are enjoyed by service users for lunch or taken home to share with parents and carers. In addition, service users participate in a variety of other projects, including recycling initiatives, woodwork activities. These activities help develop confidence, independence, practical skills, and social interaction while making a positive contribution to the local community. Through these activities, Community Resources continues to promote inclusion, environmental responsibility, skills development, and community engagement, delivering benefits both to our service users and to the wider community.
