During the financial year, the company delivered a range of community-focused activities designed to support the wellbeing, confidence, development and social connection of children, young people and adults. The company supported individuals from approximately 9 years old through to adults aged around 30, creating inclusive opportunities for different age groups to participate in activities that promoted both physical and emotional wellbeing. Activities included wellbeing workshops, Pilates sessions and other health and wellness activities aimed at encouraging participants to become more active, manage stress, improve confidence and develop healthier routines. The sessions also provided a positive and supportive environment where participants could connect with others, take time away from everyday pressures and focus on their personal wellbeing. The company also organised workshops and development activities throughout the year, giving participants opportunities to learn new skills, build confidence, interact with others and take part in constructive community-based experiences. For younger participants, the activities provided a safe and engaging environment where they could develop confidence, social skills and positive habits. For young adults and older participants, the activities supported mental wellbeing, self-development, physical health and a greater sense of community and belonging. Overall, the company’s activities benefited the community by improving access to wellbeing and development opportunities, encouraging healthier lifestyles, reducing social isolation, strengthening confidence and creating inclusive spaces where people of different ages could participate, learn and connect.
The company’s main stakeholders include the children, young people and adults who take part in our workshops, wellbeing activities and community programmes, as well as parents, families, volunteers and other individuals involved in supporting participants. Throughout the year, we have consulted with participants informally during and after sessions to understand what activities they enjoy, what support they find most useful and what they would like to see offered in the future. Feedback has helped us shape the types of workshops and wellbeing activities we provide, including Pilates, personal development sessions and activities focused on physical and emotional wellbeing. We also speak with parents and other supporting adults where appropriate, particularly in relation to younger participants, to understand their needs and the impact that the activities are having. The company uses this feedback to review its programmes, improve future sessions and ensure that activities continue to reflect the needs of the community. This ongoing engagement has helped us create more inclusive, relevant and accessible activities for people across different age groups.
