NOTES TO THE FINANCIAL STATEMENTS
FOR THE YEAR ENDED 31 DECEMBER 2025

7.

Prior year adjustment

An error was identified in the recognition of income in the prior periods. Income had been recognised before the relevant performance conditions had been satisfied and before the income was receivable.

Income of £41,455 had been incorrectly recognised during the year ended 31 December 2023 despite the relevant performance conditions not having been satisfied and the income not being receivable at that date. As a result, deferred income at 31 December 2023 was understated by £41,455 and reserves at 1 January 2024 were overstated by £41,455.

In addition, income of £32,378 had been incorrectly recognised during the year ended 31 December 2024 despite the relevant performance conditions not having been satisfied and the income not being receivable at that date. As a result, deferred income at 31 December 2024 was understated by £32,378, income was overstated by £32,378 and reserves at 31 December 2024 were overstated by £32,378.

Accordingly, the comparative figures have been restated to correct these errors. The effect of the adjustments was to increase deferred income by £41,455 at 31 December 2023 and by £32,378 at 31 December 2024. Opening reserves at 1 January 2024 have been reduced by £41,455 and the reported results for the year ended 31 December 2024 have been reduced by £32,378.

Following restatement, net assets at 1 January 2024 were £41,455 lower than previously reported and the loss for the year ended 31 December 2024 increased by £32,378.

8.

9.

Post balance sheet events

Subsequent to the year end, the trustees of Anaphylaxis UK Trading Limited's parent company announced their intention for the charity to merge with The British Allergy Foundation (registered charity number 1094231) with effect from 1 October 2026. The directors consider the planned merger to be a non-adjusting event occuring after the reporting date. Accordingly, no adjustment has been made to the amounts recognised in these financial statements.

10.

Controlling party

The company is a wholly owned subsidiary of Anaphylaxis UK, a charity registered in England and Wales (Charity No: 1085527).
