During the 2024 to 2025 financial year, Bee Pedal Ready CIC continued to support the local community through accessible cycling, wellbeing and community engagement activities. Throughout the year, our work focused on encouraging healthier and more active lifestyles by organising family bike rides, evening rides and dedicated cycling sessions for women. These activities provided opportunities for children, adults and families to become more physically active while enjoying cycling in a safe and supportive environment. We continued to promote inclusion by creating welcoming spaces where people from different ages, backgrounds and levels of cycling experience could participate with confidence. Particular attention was given to supporting women and people who may otherwise experience barriers to taking part in cycling activities. Bee Pedal Ready CIC also delivered practical bike maintenance sessions, giving community members the opportunity to learn how to carry out basic repairs, maintain their bicycles and develop useful practical skills. This helped participants become more independent while also encouraging the repair and reuse of bicycles. During 2024 to 2025, we strengthened our relationships with local organisations, schools and community groups. These partnerships helped us increase participation, reach more families and provide activities that responded to the needs of the communities we serve.
