At Methley United, we provide sporting opportunities to players, coaches, referees and other occupations to enable football to continue to thrive in our great village. We have almost 50 teams in various age groups both male and female from u6s to over 35s. We operate over multiple sites however the main sites are Pinfold Lane (from July 2026) and Church Lane. At Methley United, we are committed to fostering an inclusive, respectful, and welcoming environment for all. We embrace diversity in all forms, regardless of age, gender, race, ability, or background. Our club stands firmly against any form of discrimination, harassment, or intolerance. We believe in the power of football to bring people together and encourage teamwork, respect, and fairness both on and off the field. Any violations of this ethos will be addressed swiftly and appropriately to ensure a safe, supportive space for everyone. At Methley United, we believe football should be accessible to everyone, and our goal is to create a safe, supportive, and encouraging environment for all players. We want every child to enjoy the beautiful game, have fun, and learn valuable life skills along the way. We expect all players to show respect to their teammates, opponents, and referees, who are often volunteers. Small acts like shaking hands after the game, being polite, and respecting referees’ decisions are crucial to promoting good sporting behaviour. Whether we win or lose, we encourage our players to handle both outcomes with humility and grace. We believe we have something a bit special here, and we go the extra mile to make sure everyone feels welcomed and supported throughout their footballing journeys.
