REVIEW OF BUSINESS Report and Achievements: Enjoycation CIC provides small-group learning opportunities and one-to-one tutoring for home-educated children from 4 years old to IGCSE/GCSE level, and one-to-one tutoring sessions for English and Mathematics. The families who access our services come mainly from the Hastings/St Leonards and Bexhill area, but also from towns as far away as Eastbourne, Uckfield, Robertsbridge, Sevenoaks and even Maidstone and Tunbridge Wells. We provide National Curriculum-linked learning for groups: group size is limited to 14 to ensure high levels of personalised support. Groups with children under 12-years-old always have both a qualified teacher (at least QTS level) and a teaching assistant. A wide variety of different sessions for children of differing ages are run during the week, varying in length from two hours to whole days (9.15-3.45). In Summer 2025, we had a 96% pass rate for GCSE/IGCSE exams, far in advance of that of local Secondary schools, and we are now seeing a greater number of our students (the majority) going onto College studies. Past students are also now more likely to take up University and other Higher Education places in the years after they have attended Enjoycation. 85% of the children with whom we work are not in school because of SEND (Special Educational Need or Disability), mostly Autistic Spectrum Disorder, but also Dyslexia, and Speech and Language delays. Nearly all have attended school at some point but have been de-registered because schools were not able to meet their needs. We have had an increasing number of teenagers applying for places because they are not in school because of mental ill-health, with generalised anxiety disorders, eating disorders and depression. The majority have in the past been persistent school refusers with School-Based Anxiety, but now attend our sessions happily, have rising levels of self-esteem, and are learning well. Several students have been referred to our service on the recommendation of East Sussex; East Sussex also commission us for alternative provision for pupils, as do several local Secondary schools: in all of these cases, placement with Enjoycation has been successful and students have attained GCSE passes that otherwise might not have been possible. We are able to provide a very supportive, relaxed and emotionally-aware learning environment, with highly-experienced teachers and teaching assistants. The quality of learning is very high and tailored to children's individual needs. Resourcing is high-quality, in two permanent, welcoming classrooms and an office. Children settle in quickly and make good social and learning progress. In very many cases, children who were attaining at below age-related expectations are now at or above them. Planning focuses on creativity and children are given lots of choices about their learning. For students 4-14-years-old, follow-up activities are provided for parents to lead, if they wish to consolidate learning at home. We have excellent relationships with parents and wider families.

Feedback from parents and children is sought constantly, and there is a parent group to gather ideas/suggestions. Most of the new sessions that we have started have been directly in response to parent requests - including new IGCSE/GCSE courses, and activities to support children's wellbeing. Fieldwork opportunities and educational visits are welcomed by parents and have good take-up from whole families, for example a very well-attended visit to Rye Harbour/Sussex Wildlife Trust this year. Parents are also consulted about the content of courses/sessions, and we meet with parents before children start to ensure that we know about their learning experiences to date and any social/emotional/learning needs and the best ways to support them. This has been increasingly important as we continue to take in a number of Secondary-aged children with anxiety, depression and trauma. Pastoral care has been increased for our IGCSE/GCSE groups, in the light of these admissions. Registration forms also gather evidence of needs and what is wanted from learning, both from parents and children. Planning is flexible, and we have been able to adapt learning from week to week to respond to parents'/children's comments and suggestions. Teaching and support staff are closely involved in strategic decision-making for the company and meetings are held regularly to review policies, procedures and future direction. Decision-making is collegiate, and supported by exemplary close working relationships.
The total amount paid or receivable by directors in respect of qualifying services was £53,757. There were no other transactions or arrangements in connection with the remuneration of directors, or compensation for director’s loss of office, which require to be disclosed.
