We provide specialist fitness training for people with mental health problems. Exercise has been proven to boost mental health and wellbeing. Our specialist one-to-one and small group sessions - led by an expert personal trainer - maximise the impact of this. We work with clients on GP referral through social prescribing, as well as acute hospital patients. Visit our website – fit-mind.co.uk - for more information.
Our stakeholders are the clients we work with. We ask every client to complete a short feedback questionnaire. Here is a feedback example from a GP referral patient: “FitMind has created a sense of purpose, where hopelessness existed. It is not just exercise; it is much more.” To date, 96 per cent of respondents have given us a score of five stars (the maximum rating) when asked the following questions. - On a scale of 1-5, how helpful have you found personal training? - If you knew someone in a similar situation, how likely would you be to recommend us? We have never scored lower than four stars on these metrics.
