For Mangope Basketball Club CIC, you can write: During the financial year, Mangope Basketball Club CIC has benefited the community by providing accessible basketball activities for children and young people in Manchester. The organisation has used sport as a tool to encourage physical activity, teamwork, discipline, confidence and positive social interaction. Through regular basketball sessions, training and community activities, participants have had opportunities to develop their skills while being part of a safe and supportive environment. The activities have also helped young people build friendships, improve their wellbeing and stay positively engaged outside school hours. Mangope Basketball Club CIC has particularly aimed to reduce barriers to participation in organised sport by creating opportunities for children and families who may otherwise find it difficult to access structured basketball programmes. The company’s activities have therefore contributed to improved physical wellbeing, stronger community connections, personal development and greater social inclusion among the young people and families involved.
