Notes to the Financial Statements
for the Period 1 May 2025 to 30 September 2025

1. STATUTORY INFORMATION

Bridgemill Property Company Limited is a private company, limited by shares , registered in England and Wales. The company's registered number and registered office address can be found on the Company Information page.

The presentation currency of the financial statements is the Pound Sterling (£).

2. ACCOUNTING POLICIES

Basis of preparing the financial statements
These financial statements have been prepared in accordance with Financial Reporting Standard 102 "The Financial Reporting Standard applicable in the UK and Republic of Ireland" including the provisions of Section 1A "Small Entities" and the Companies Act 2006. The financial statements have been prepared under the historical cost convention as modified by the revaluation of certain assets.

The accounts have been shortened to 30 September 2025 in order to align the year end with the company's trading cycle.

By this fact, the comparable amounts presented in the financial statements are not entirely comparable.

Turnover
Rental income arising from operating leases is recognised on a straight-line basis over the lease term, irrespective of the timing of receipts, unless another systematic basis is more representative of the pattern in which the benefit derived from the leased asset is diminished.

Rental income is recognised from the date on which the tenant is entitled to occupy the property and is measured at the fair value of the consideration receivable under the lease agreement.

Tangible fixed assets
Tangible fixed assets are initially measured at cost and subsequently measured at cost or valuation, net of depreciation and any impairment losses. Depreciation is recognised so as to write off the cost or valuation of assets less their residual values over their useful lives on the following basis:

Computer Equipment- 33% Straight Line
Fixtures & Fittings- 10% Reducing Balance

Investment property
Investment properties are initially recognised at cost, including transaction costs. Subsequently they are measured at fair value at each reporting date. The fair value of investment properties is reviewed annually by the director with reference to market conditions and comparable property transactions.

Any gain or loss arising from a change in fair value is recognised in the profit and loss account in the year in which it arises.

Taxation
Taxation for the period comprises current and deferred tax. Tax is recognised in the Income Statement, except to the extent that it relates to items recognised in other comprehensive income or directly in equity.

Current or deferred taxation assets and liabilities are not discounted.

Current tax is recognised at the amount of tax payable using the tax rates and laws that have been enacted or substantively enacted by the balance sheet date.

Deferred tax
Deferred tax is recognised in respect of all timing differences that have originated but not reversed at the balance sheet date.

Timing differences arise from the inclusion of income and expenses in tax assessments in periods different from those in which they are recognised in financial statements. Deferred tax is measured using tax rates and laws that have been enacted or substantively enacted by the period end and that are expected to apply to the reversal of the timing difference.

Unrelieved tax losses and other deferred tax assets are recognised only to the extent that it is probable that they will be recovered against the reversal of deferred tax liabilities or other future taxable profits.

9. PRIOR YEAR ADJUSTMENT

The comparative figures have been restated to provide against a £100,000 loan outstanding to an unconnected company and a further £18,333 of interest accrued on this balance.

As a result of the above provision, there is also a £24,000 tax debtor that is now owed from HMRC due to the restatement in figures.

These transactions have been restated in the prior year and have reduced the profit in the prior year by £94,333. This has reduced the retained earnings brought forward by the same amount.
