COMMUNITY INTEREST ANNUAL REPORT

VIRTUOUS VOICES INTERNATIONAL CIC

Company Number: 14922900 (England and Wales)

Year Ending: 29 June 2025

Company activities and impact

Over the past year, Virtuous Voices CIC has continued to provide meaningful psychological and therapeutic support within the community, with a particular focus on improving access to mental health support for individuals who may otherwise experience financial or other barriers to accessing therapy. During the year, I provided free individual therapy to over 8 people within the community, enabling individuals to access professional psychological support at no cost. In addition, Over 20 people received therapy at a significantly subsidised fee, helping to make ongoing therapeutic support more financially accessible. I also provided group therapy to 10 people within the community at a heavily subsidised rate. This enabled participants to benefit from therapeutic support within a supportive group environment while keeping the cost accessible. Alongside direct therapeutic intervention, Virtuous Voices CIC has contributed to community education and mental health awareness. I have provided free speaking engagements and educational sessions at the University of Roehampton, churches and community centres, covering topics including mental health, emotional wellbeing, and the psychological impact of domestic abuse and sexual violence. These sessions have aimed to increase understanding, reduce stigma and provide people with greater awareness of psychological support and recovery. The organisation continues to offer individual, couples, family and group therapeutic support, alongside workshops, seminars, education and community-based initiatives. Our work is particularly focused on trauma, domestic abuse, sexual violence, relationships and mental wellbeing. Although the CIC has made a positive contribution to the community over the past year, I recognise that there is further potential to increase our reach and impact. Over the coming year, I hope to increase the number of people accessing free and subsidised therapy, expand group therapeutic provision, and develop further partnerships with universities, churches, community organisations and other local services. The aim is to enable more people within the community to access appropriate psychological support, education and therapeutic interventions regardless of their financial circumstances.
