First-period development and financial performance
This was the company's first accounting period and included investment in establishing the organisation, developing its activities and creating the infrastructure needed to deliver sustainable community programmes. Expenditure included initial professional and administrative support, Mentor training, promotion, equipment and other costs associated with commencing and developing the company's activities.

The resulting deficit of £1,718 reflects the timing of this set up expenditure relative to the income recognised during the period. It should therefore be considered in the context of the company's early stage of development and the investment made in building its future delivery capacity.

During the period, the company generated income of £13,395, including grant funding of £5,957 and donations and fundraising income of £6,875. This enabled the company to commence delivering accessible music workshops, mentoring and community events for children and young people, including those from low-income families and those with disabilities or additional needs.

The directors remain focused on securing further funding, maintaining appropriate control over expenditure and developing a sustainable income base to support the continuation and growth of the company's community activities.
