Activities and community benefit During the reporting period, THE VAULT CINEMA - HEATHFIELD CIC continued the development of The Vault Community Cinema, an initiative established to provide an accessible, affordable and welcoming community cinema for Heathfield and the surrounding area. The CIC's long-term objective is to establish a permanent community cinema in Heathfield. While preparations for the permanent venue continued, the CIC operated temporary pop-up community cinema screenings. These screenings provided local residents with opportunities to enjoy films within their own community while enabling the CIC to build awareness, demonstrate demand, engage with residents and raise funds towards its long-term objectives. The CIC also organised fundraising and community activities, including quiz events, refreshment sales and other fundraising initiatives. Total income for the period was £15,016.99. The activities benefited the community by providing affordable local entertainment and opportunities for social interaction, while supporting the development of a permanent cultural and community facility for Heathfield. Any surplus generated has been retained for the purposes of the organisation and its community objectives.
