Basis of preparing the financial statements
These financial statements have been prepared in accordance with Financial Reporting Standard 102 "The Financial Reporting Standard applicable in the UK and Republic of Ireland" including the provisions of Section 1A "Small Entities" and the Companies Act 2006. The financial statements have been prepared under the historical cost convention.

Turnover
Turnover is measured at the fair value of the consideration received or receivable, excluding discounts, rebates, value added tax and other sales taxes.

Plant and machinery - 15% reducing balance

Computer equipment - 20% on reducing balance

Stocks

Current tax is recognised at the amount of tax payable using the tax rates and laws that have been enacted or substantively enacted by the balance sheet date.

Deferred tax
Deferred tax is recognised in respect of all timing differences that have originated but not reversed at the balance sheet date.

Timing differences arise from the inclusion of income and expenses in tax assessments in periods different from those in which they are recognised in financial statements. Deferred tax is measured using tax rates and laws that have been enacted or substantively enacted by the year end and that are expected to apply to the reversal of the timing difference.

Unrelieved tax losses and other deferred tax assets are recognised only to the extent that it is probable that they will be recovered against the reversal of deferred tax liabilities or other future taxable profits.

2. ACCOUNTING POLICIES - continued

Going concern
The company generated a loss for the year of £2,488. At the balance sheet date the company had net liabilities of £1,839,706.

The company maintains a good relationship with its bankers. In the short and medium term the ability of the company to continue trade is dependent upon the continued financial support of the company's bankers and the ultimate controlling party, Mr D P Bull, who has indicated that this support will continue in to the foreseeable future.

The director is therefore satisfied that the going concern basis remains appropriate and the financial statements have been prepared on this basis.

9. POST BALANCE SHEET EVENT

After the year end the company ceased trading as the site which it operated was sold by it's owner, the Yesterday's World Retirement Scheme.

The decision to sell the site was made after the balance sheet date and therefore this represents a non-adjusting event after the reporting date. Accordingly, no adjustments have been made to the amounts recognised at 31 January 2026. The directors consider this event to be material to the users of the financial statements. The financial implications of the cessation of trade are still beng assessed and, accordingly, the directors are unable to estimate reliably the financial effect of this event.

The company will continue to assess new business opportunities.
