2Accounting Policies

Basis of measurement and preparation of accounts
The accounts cover 18 January 2025 to 31 January 2026. Historical cost and accruals accounting have been applied under FRS 105. Amounts are stated in pounds sterling.

Turnover policy
Rent is recognised over the tenancy period. Rent received in advance is deferred. Current assets include an estimated January rent receivable of £310.48. This remains subject to reconciliation of the £437.69 credit on the purchase completion statement.

Tangible assets depreciation policy
The leasehold investment property is recorded at £190,361 cost, less depreciation and any impairment. Straight-line depreciation uses an estimated remaining life of 50 years and nil residual value. Depreciation from 18 January 2025 to 31 January 2026 is £3,953.25. These estimates will be reviewed against the property’s condition and expected use.

Other accounting policies
The company owes Muhammad Yusuf Dadu £190,411: £190,000 property funding, £361 acquisition costs and £50 incorporation costs. The loan is interest-free, with no agreed repayment terms. No repayments have been made. It is included in creditors due within one year.

Other creditors comprise £100 Innovus ground rent and £1,567.26 estimated Corporation Tax. Tax is calculated at 19%, with property depreciation and incorporation costs added back.

The £229.66 Contour payment is treated as an expense of this period. The £396.87 March 2026 payment is allocated to the following period. These allocations are estimates; supplier service dates remain unconfirmed. No other liabilities or commitments were reported.

The £1 share subscription remains unpaid, contrary to the incorporation declaration. This discrepancy requires resolution.

Continued operation depends on director support. Loan repayments are deferred, without a contractual right to defer beyond one year. A £1 presentation rounding difference is allocated to reserves; unrounded equity is £2,679.26.
