FurryPotatoSanctuaryCic is the only Guinea pig sanctuary on our island, it is the only rescue for at least 20 miles. We’ve taken in over 50 Guinea pigs just in the last year, Which has helped reduce the abandonment rate on the island. We help reduce food waste, we take on supermarkets veg that are going out of date to feed the Guinea pigs, so less food is wasted and going in the trash, We’ve been helping other local charities with raffle prizes. With some of the donations we have been given through GoFundMe, we’ve donated food to our local food bank. We have started a budget grooming service for Guinea pigs, anyone can book a cleaning and grooming service from us,as well as health checks for there Guinea pigs.
