All fixed assets are initially recorded at cost. Property, plant and equipment is used in the company's principal activity for the production and supply of goods or for administrative purposes and is stated in the balance sheet under the historic cost model. This model requires the assets to be stated at cost less amounts in respect of depreciation and less any accumulated impairment losses. Depreciation is calculated so as to write off the cost of an asset, less its estimated residual value (which is the expected amount that would currently be obtained from disposal of an asset, after deducting the estimated costs of disposal, if the asset were already of the age and in the condition expected at the end of its useful
life), over the useful economic life of the respective asset

The investment property is subject to a legal charge in favour of the mortgage lender in respect of the loan disclosed in note Creditors: amounts falling due after more than one year
LONDON PROJECTS AND DESIGN SOLUTIONS LIMITED
Notes to the financial statements
for the period from 30 January 2025 to 31 January 2026
6 Creditors: amounts falling due after more than one year
At 31 January 2026 the company had the following creditor falling due after more than one year:
• Mortgage loan £209,985
The mortgage loan relates to the investment property held by the company. It is repayable by monthly instalments and is currently interest‑only
The company is a small entity and has taken advantage of the exemptions available under FRS 102 Section 1A in respect of deferred taxation. Deferred tax assets and liabilities that would arise from timing differences, including those relating to capital allowances and tax losses carried forward, have not been recognised in these financial statements. The directors consider that full recognition of deferred tax would be disproportionate in cost and complexity and would not have a material impact on the true and fair view of the company’s financial position or results, given the size and expected reversal of the underlying timing differences (for example, capital allowances claimed on fixed assets such as motor vehicles)
8 Average number of employees
The average number of persons employed, including directors, during the year was 0.
9 Investment Property – Fair Value Assessment
The company acquired the investment property in November, approximately three months before the reporting date.
The directors have reviewed the property's fair value at the reporting date and consider that the recent arm's-length purchase price remains representative of its fair value, as there have been no significant changes in market conditions or the property's circumstances during the period.
Accordingly, no fair value adjustment has been recognised in the financial statements, and no deferred tax liability arises from a revaluation of the investment property.
