| Prior year adjustment |
| In previous years, the company’s accounts were prepared on the basis that service charge monies were attributable to the company and were therefore included within the financial statements. However, service charge monies, which represent the majority of the company’s transactions, are collected and expended by the company on behalf of, and in trust for, the lessees. Accordingly, the financial statements for the year ended 31 March 2026 have been prepared to include only transactions attributable to the company. The comparative figures have been restated on the same basis. The resulting prior year adjustment restates the company’s reserves to the amount that would have been reported had this accounting treatment been applied in previous years. |
|
| The company is a private company limited by guarantee and incorporated in England. Its registered office is 48 Mount Ephraim, Tunbridge Wells, Kent, TN4 8AU. |
|
| The directors are satisfied that the company is entitled to exemption from the requirement to obtain an audit under section 477 of the Companies Act 2006. |
| The members have not required the company to obtain an audit in accordance with section 476 of the Act. |
| The directors acknowledge their responsibilities for complying with the requirements of the Companies Act 2006 with respect to accounting records and the preparation of accounts. |
