| 1. | STATUTORY INFORMATION |
Red Flag Alert Technology Group Limited is a
The presentation currency of the financial statements is the Pound Sterling (£).
The amounts in the financial statements have been rounded to the nearest £1.
| 2. | ACCOUNTING POLICIES |
Basis of preparing the financial statements
Going concern
The financial statements have been prepared on the going concern basis despite the excess of liabilities over assets. The directors have assessed going concern by reviewing the company's future cashflow requirements and the forecasts prepared by management that extend beyond 12 months from the date of signing. The company has also attained a letter of support from the director and majority shareholder, who has committed to support the company as required for at least 12 months from the date the accounts are signed/approved.
Preparation of consolidated financial statements
The financial statements contain information about Red Flag Alert Technology Group Limited as an individual company and do not contain consolidated financial information as the parent of a group. The company is exempt under Section 399(2A) of the Companies Act 2006 from the requirements to prepare consolidated financial statements.

| 2. | ACCOUNTING POLICIES - continued |
Critical accounting judgements and key sources of estimation uncertainty
In applying the company's accounting policies, the directors are required to make judgements, estimates and assumptions about the carrying amounts of assets and liabilities that are not readily apparent from other sources. These estimates and assumptions are based on historical experience and other factors considered relevant. Actual results may differ from these estimates. Estimates and underlying assumptions are reviewed on an ongoing basis. Revisions are recognised in the period in which the estimate is revised, if the revision affects only that period, or in the period of the revision and future periods if it affects both.
Critical judgements in applying the company's accounting policies
Revenue recognition.
Subscription contracts may include platform access, data services and onboarding or implementation services. The directors have judged that onboarding is not a distinct performance obligation and that revenue from platform access is recognised evenly over the subscription term. Amounts invoiced in advance are held in deferred income (£1.5m; 2025: £1.2m).
Capitalisation of development costs.
Costs of developing the company's software platform are capitalised when the criteria in FRS 102 para 18.8H are met. This requires judgement about technical feasibility, the intention and ability to complete and use the asset, and whether it is probable that future economic benefits will flow to the company. Development costs capitalised in the year were £952k (2025: £265k).
Key sources of estimation uncertainty
Useful economic life of capitalised development costs.
Development costs are amortised over 5 years, the directors' estimate of the period over which the platform will generate economic benefits. The carrying amount at the year end was £1.2m. A reduction in the estimated useful life of one year would increase the annual amortisation charge by approximately £61k.
Impairment of intangible assets.
Where there are indicators of impairment, the directors estimate the recoverable amount based on value-in-use calculations. These require assumptions about future cash flows, growth rates and a discount rate of 10%. The carrying amount at the year end was £136k.
Recoverability of trade debtors.
The directors estimate the provision for impairment of trade debtors based on ageing, historical default experience and customer-specific information. The carrying amount of trade debtors was £1.1m, net of a provision of £60k.
Turnover
Turnover is measured at the fair value of the consideration received or receivable, excluding discounts, rebates, value added tax and other sales taxes.
Intangible assets
Intangible assets acquired separately from a business are recognised at cost and are subsequently measured at cost less accumulated amortisation and accumulated impairment losses.
Amortisation is recognised so as to write off the cost or valuation of assets less their residual values over their useful lives on the following bases:
| Class of asset | Estimated useful economic life |
| Client list | 5 years |
| Historic client base | 2 years |
| Intellectual property | 5 years |
| Brand awareness | 10 years |
| Computer software | 5 years |

| Fixtures and fittings | - |

Investments in subsidiaries
Investments in subsidiary undertakings are recognised at cost.
Financial instruments
Financial instruments are recognised when the company becomes party to the contractual provisions of the instrument.
Basic financial assets, which include debtors, prepayments and bank and cash balances and bank and cash equivalents, are initially measured at transaction price and are subsequently carried at cost unless the arrangement indicates otherwise and then the asset is measured at the present value of the future receipts discounted at a market rate of interest.
Basic financial liabilities, which include creditors, accruals, overdrafts and such equivalents, together with bank or similar loans and group and related party borrowings, are initially recognised at transaction price and are subsequently carried at cost unless the arrangement indicates otherwise and then the liability is measured at the present value of the future obligations discounted at a market rate of interest.
Taxation
Taxation for the year comprises current and deferred tax. Tax is recognised in the Income Statement, except to the extent that it relates to items recognised in other comprehensive income or directly in equity.
Current or deferred taxation assets and liabilities are not discounted.
Current tax is recognised at the amount of tax payable using the tax rates and laws that have been enacted or substantively enacted by the balance sheet date.
Deferred tax
Deferred tax is recognised in respect of all timing differences that have originated but not reversed at the balance sheet date.
Timing differences arise from the inclusion of income and expenses in tax assessments in periods different from those in which they are recognised in financial statements. Deferred tax is measured using tax rates and laws that have been enacted or substantively enacted by the year end and that are expected to apply to the reversal of the timing difference.
Unrelieved tax losses and other deferred tax assets are recognised only to the extent that it is probable that they will be recovered against the reversal of deferred tax liabilities or other future taxable profits.
Research and development
Expenditure on research and development is written off in the year in which it is incurred.
Hire purchase and leasing commitments
Rentals paid under operating leases are charged to profit or loss on a straight line basis over the period of the lease.
