During the financial year, TUXchange CIC provided affordable school uniform and related items to families across West Berkshire, helping to reduce the financial burden of purchasing school clothing. A total of more than 2,600 items were provided during the year, with items typically priced between 50p and £3 to ensure they remained accessible to those most in need. By making both new and pre-loved uniform available at low cost, the company helped local families manage household expenses while also promoting the reuse of clothing and reducing textile waste. These activities delivered both social and environmental benefits to the community.
TUXchange CIC engages with a range of stakeholders including families, schools, donors, volunteers and community organisations. Feedback is gathered through direct conversations, social media engagement, email enquiries and day-to-day interactions with service users. This feedback is used to help shape the services provided, identify areas of demand and ensure the organisation continues to meet the needs of local families. During the year, stakeholder feedback informed decisions relating to the availability of school uniform, pricing and the development of services to support the community.
