Activities undertaken during the reporting period Union of Truth CIC has continued to benefit the local community through its Mind Warriors programme, providing regular weekly self-defence and personal-confidence sessions for members of the community. The programme has been well received and successful in encouraging participants to develop confidence, awareness and practical self-defence skills. We have also operated our Wings of Warmth outreach van, providing practical support and assistance to homeless people and others experiencing hardship or in need within the local community. Through this outreach work, we have successfully supported a number of individuals with essential help and supplies. Future plans Union of Truth CIC intends to continue and expand its existing community programmes. Further Mind Warriors self-defence sessions are being organised to enable more members of the community to participate, while Wings of Warmth will continue providing practical assistance to homeless and vulnerable people in the local area. We also plan to develop Dark Moon, a programme using creative arts and artistic activities to support people experiencing mental health difficulties, providing a safe and constructive environment for self-expression, connection and confidence-building. Through these programmes, our aim is to continue using the CIC’s resources for the benefit of the community and to reach and support more people who may be experiencing disadvantage, isolation or hardship.
