COMMUNITY INTEREST ANNUAL REPORT

CANDO DOULAS COMMUNITY INTEREST COMPANY

Company Number: 12422104 (England and Wales)

Year Ending: 31 January 2026

Company activities and impact

CanDo supports parents with complex needs by providing them with doula services during pregnacy, birth and the post-natal period free of charge. This provides the parent(s) with emotional, practical and educational support that is not offered by statutory services. During the relevant tax year we have tried (unsuccesfully) to get funding for CanDo. Due to a lack of funds, we have only been able to support one mother. We are currently exploring alternatives ways of getting funding so CanDo can survive.

Consultation with stakeholders

One of our referrers (CASBA, Birmingham) has interviewed a mother who received CanDo services. The feedback from this service user was glowing as was the feedback from the referrer.

Directors' remuneration

No remuneration was received

Transfer of assets

No transfer of assets other than for full consideration
