    Basis of measurement and preparation

These financial statements have been prepared in accordance with the provisions of Section 1A (Small Entities) of Financial Reporting Standard 102

    Turnover policy

Turnover is measured at the fair value of the consideration received or receivable. Turnover is reduced for estimated customer returns, rebates and other similar allowances. Revenue from the sale of goods is recognised when all the following conditions are satisfied: - the Company has transferred to the buyer the significant risks and rewards of ownership of the goods; - the Company retains neither continuing managerial involvement to the degree usually associated with ownership nor effective control over the goods sold; - the amount of revenue can be measured reliably; - it is probable that the economic benefits associated with the transaction will flow to the Company; and - the costs incurred or to be incurred in respect of the transaction can be measured reliably. Specifically, revenue from the sale of goods is recognised when goods are delivered and legal title is passed.

    Other accounting policies

Leased assets The company did not have any leased assets or right-of-use assets during the year. Taxation Income tax expense represents the currently payable. The tax currently payable is based on taxable profit for the year. COMMUNITY INTEREST ANNUAL REPORT

FUTURE INTENTIONS YORKSHIRE COMMUNITY INTEREST COMPANY

Company Number: 13722501 (England and Wales)

Year Ending: 31 August 2026

Company activities and impact

During this period, the company continued to build its presence in the local community and provided a number of workshops and support activities for women in Ryedale and York. Our social group and accountability group for women continued to attract new members, providing a range of support including confidence building, returning to work and starting a business. We also delivered a number of small, successful workshops. Participants reported increased confidence and felt that the tailored support provided had helped them considerably. We continued our work with a local refuge, supporting women to change their lives, move closer to economic independence, improve their confidence and develop stronger support networks. We worked with women from a range of backgrounds, including those facing additional challenges such as language barriers. This work was very successful, and we developed a strong and well-respected relationship with the IDAS team. The company’s activities were led and delivered by its founder and director, Liz Hempshall, who continued to work with the women and deliver the company’s activities until the end of April 2026. Sadly, Liz passed away on 2 May 2026. Following Liz’s death, no further trading or community activities were undertaken by the company. The remainder of the reporting period was therefore devoted to dealing with the necessary administrative and winding-up matters relating to the company and its assets.

Consultation with stakeholders

The Company's stakeholders are our customers, directors, volunteers, collaborative and referral partners, signposting organisations and funders. Stakeholders have been consulted through questionnaires, email updates, newsletters, face-to-face discussions and feedback. This feedback has helped to inform the development and delivery of workshops, peer support sessions, employability support and confidence-building sessions. Regular feedback, questions and queries have been followed up through our Facebook page and directly via email communications. We have continued to maintain communication with our stakeholders and to take their feedback into consideration when developing our activities and support. The accounts were prepared by Solutions Accountancy, Huddersfield, by Mr Paul Dangirwa and presented to the Board of Directors of Future Intentions Yorkshire (Community Interest Company).

Transfer of assets

On 29 August 2026, the company transferred its remaining financial assets of £500.91 to Kyra Women’s Project, Company No. 08707011, Registered Charity No. 1154290, for the benefit of the community. Prior to the transfer, the company established that Kyra Women’s Project did not wish to take ownership of the company’s remaining non-financial assets, including its name, website, social media accounts and associated digital assets. These assets were therefore not transferred to Kyra Women’s Project and no consideration was received for them.
