On 20 June 2025, we held Prestwich Pride Comedy Night, featuring four comedians and attracting approximately 140 attendees. Our main Prestwich Pride weekend took place from 7 to 10 August 2025 and included: - A Pride Quiz on Thursday, attended by approximately 75 people. - A Drag Supper Club on Friday, attended by approximately 90 people. - A children's disco on Saturday, attended by approximately 50 children and 40 parents, providing a welcoming, family-friendly way to participate in Pride. - The main Pride celebration on Saturday, attracting approximately 400 attendees. - A makers market and a smaller comedy night on Sunday, supporting community participation and providing opportunities for local makers and performers. Across the events for which attendance figures were recorded, we achieved approximately 795 attendances, demonstrating the reach of our activities within the local community. Our events provided opportunities for LGBTQ+ people to celebrate their identities in a welcoming environment, encouraged wider community participation, and helped promote visibility, inclusion and connections between residents, local businesses, artists and performers. All activities were organised by volunteers, with no paid employees or remunerated directors. Our activities and donations supported the company's community purpose of promoting LGBTQ+ inclusion, celebrating diversity and benefiting the wider community.
During 2025, Prestwich Pride CIC gathered feedback through conversations with attendees at events, comments and direct messages on social media, and discussions with local businesses. These informal channels gave stakeholders opportunities to share views and experiences of the activities offered.
