The CIC responded to enquiries received by email, helped individuals identify appropriate organisations and support services, and provided direct practical assistance where possible. These activities benefited the community by improving access to useful information, helping individuals understand available support options and providing practical guidance to people experiencing difficulties. All assistance was provided free of charge, without fees or commercial income. During this initial period, the CIC concentrated on establishing its services, developing its Help Directory and responding to individuals seeking assistance. Its work was directed towards supporting people affected by injustice, exploitation and other difficulties, consistent with its community interest objectives.

Consultation with stakeholders
