These financial statements have been prepared in accordance with Financial Reporting Standarrd 102, "The Financial Reporting Standard applicable in the UK and Republic of Ireland", applying the presentation and disclosure provisions of Section 1A "Small Entities", and the Companies Act 2006. The financial statements have been prepared under the historical cost convention, modified to include investment properties at fair value.
Preparation of consolidated financial statements
The financial statements contain information about Sea Pebbles (UK) Limited as an individual company and do not contain consolidated financial information as the parent of a group. The company is exempt under Section 399(2A) of the Companies Act 2006 from the requirements to prepare consolidated financial statements.
Turnover
Turnover is measured at the fair value of the consideration received or receivable, excluding discounts, rebates, value added tax and other sales taxes.
Turnover is recognised when the properties are occupied.
Investments in subsidiaries
Investments in subsidiary undertakings are initially recognised at cost and subsequently measured at cost less accumulated impairment losses. For the acquisition of Macasa Property & Management Limited, cost has been measured by reference to the fair value of the shares issued as consideration. At each reporting date, the company assesses whether there is any indication that an investment may be impaired. Where such an indication exists, the carrying amount is compared with its recoverable amount and any impairment loss is recognised in profit or loss.
Investment properties
Investment properties are properties held to earn rental income, for capital appreciation, or both. They are initially recognised at cost and subsequently measured at fair value at each reporting date. Changes in fair value are recognised in profit or loss. Investment properties measured at fair value are not depreciated.
Taxation
Taxation for the year comprises current and deferred tax. Tax is recognised in the Income Statement, except to the extent that it relates to items recognised in other comprehensive income or directly in equity.
Current or deferred taxation assets and liabilities are not discounted.
Current tax is recognised at the amount of tax payable using the tax rates and laws that have been enacted or substantively enacted by the balance sheet date.
Deferred tax
Deferred tax is recognised in respect of all timing differences that have originated but not reversed at the balance sheet date.
Timing differences arise from the inclusion of income and expenses in tax assessments in periods different from those in which they are recognised in financial statements. Deferred tax is measured using tax rates and laws that have been enacted or substantively enacted by the year end and that are expected to apply to the reversal of the timing difference.
Unrelieved tax losses and other deferred tax assets are recognised only to the extent that it is probable that they will be recovered against the reversal of deferred tax liabilities or other future taxable profits.

| 5. | INVESTMENT PROPERTY - continued |
At 31 March 2026, the company's investment properties were carried at a fair value of £10,906,771 (2025: £10,906,771).
The investment properties were independently valued by Eddisons, Real Estate & Business Valuers, on 11 July 2023 as part of the company's refinancing arrangements. The valuations were prepared using recognised valuation methodologies, including the comparable market approach and investment approach, having regard to recent sales of similar properties, prevailing rental values, rental yields, property locations, condition and existing tenancy arrangements.
The directors have considered these valuations in assessing the fair value of the investment properties at 31 March 2026. The directors' assessment takes into account the valuation methodologies and assumptions applied by Eddisons, together with their assessment of the properties and relevant market conditions.
The directors consider that the carrying value of £10,906,771 remains an appropriate estimate of the fair value of the investment properties at 31 March 2026. Accordingly, no fair value adjustment has been recognised during the financial year.Had the property been measured under the cost model, its carrying amount at 31 March 2026 would have been £8,134,032.
