The accounts have been prepared in accordance with the provisions of FRS 102 Section 1A Small Entities. There were no material departures from that standard.
The principal accounting policies adopted in the preparation of the financial statements are set out below and have remained unchanged from the previous year, and also have been consistently applied within the same accounts.
The accounts have been prepared under the historical cost convention.
Revenue, described as turnover, is the value of goods provided to customers during the year.
Revenue is recognised on the sale of goods when the goods are delivered and title has passed.
Stocks and work-in-progress are valued at the lower of cost and net realisable value, after making due allowance for obsolete and slow moving items. Cost includes any expenditure incurred in bringing the stock to its present location and condition. A "first in, first out" basis is used.
Monetary assets and liabilities in foreign currencies are translated into sterling at the rates of exchange ruling at the balance sheet date. Transactions in foreign currencies are translated into sterling at the rates of exchange ruling at the date of the
transaction. Exchange differences are taken into account in arriving at the operating profit.
The Company has again not made any sales during the year. The directors are confident that the company will be profitable in the future and have pledged their continued support. Consequently, the going concern basis of accounting has been adopted.
