FOR THE YEAR ENDED 31 MARCH 2026
| 1. | STATUTORY INFORMATION |
Mosfilo Trading Limited is a
| 2. | ACCOUNTING POLICIES |
Basis of preparing the financial statements
These financial statements have been prepared in accordance with FRS 102, The Financial Reporting Standard applicable in the UK and Republic of Ireland, applying Section 1A Small Entities, and the Companies Act 2006.
Turnover
Turnover is measured at the fair value of the consideration received or receivable, excluding discounts, rebates, value added tax and other sales taxes.
Rental income from operating leases is recognised on a straight-line basis over the lease term unless another systematic basis better represents the pattern of benefit. Lease incentives are recognised as a reduction of rental income over the lease term.
Investment property
Investment properties are held to earn rentals, for capital appreciation, or both. They are initially recognised at cost and subsequently measured at fair value at each reporting date. Changes in fair value are recognised in profit or loss. Investment properties measured at fair value are not depreciated.
Taxation
Taxation for the year comprises current and deferred tax. Tax is recognised in the Income Statement, except to the extent that it relates to items recognised in other comprehensive income or directly in equity.
Current or deferred taxation assets and liabilities are not discounted.
Current tax is recognised at the amount of tax payable using the tax rates and laws that have been enacted or substantively enacted by the balance sheet date.
Deferred tax
Deferred tax is recognised in respect of all timing differences that have originated but not reversed at the balance sheet date.
Timing differences arise from the inclusion of income and expenses in tax assessments in periods different from those in which they are recognised in financial statements. Deferred tax is measured using tax rates and laws that have been enacted or substantively enacted by the year end and that are expected to apply to the reversal of the timing difference.
Unrelieved tax losses and other deferred tax assets are recognised only to the extent that it is probable that they will be recovered against the reversal of deferred tax liabilities or other future taxable profits.
Management services policy
Revenue from management services is recognised by reference to the stage of completion of the services at the reporting date when the outcome can be estimated reliably. Where the services are performed evenly over a period, revenue is recognised over that period.
Going concern
The Financial Statements have been prepared on a going concern basis, as the director has confirmed that funds will continue to be made available for the company to meet its day to day commitments for the foreseeable future. The financial statements do not include any adjustments that may result from the withdrawal of this support and the director is of the opinion that the going concern basis is therefore appropriate to the preparation of these financial statements.

NET BOOK VALUE
At 31 March 2026
At 31 March 2025
At 31 March 2026, the company's investment properties were carried at a fair value of £8,151,000 (2025:
£8,151,000).
The investment properties were independently valued by Eddisons, Real Estate & Business Valuers, on 11 July 2023 as part of the company's refinancing arrangements. The valuations were prepared using recognised valuation methodologies, including the comparable market approach and investment approach, having regard to recent sales of similar properties, prevailing rental values, rental yields, property locations, condition and existing tenancy arrangements.
The directors have considered these valuations in assessing the fair value of the investment properties at 31 March 2026. The directors' assessment takes into account the valuation methodologies and assumptions applied by Eddisons, together with their assessment of the properties and relevant market conditions.
The directors consider that the carrying value of £8,151,000 remains an appropriate estimate of the fair value of the investment properties at 31 March 2026. Accordingly, no fair value adjustment has been recognised during thefinancial year. Had the property been measured under the cost model, its carrying amount at 31 March 2026 would have been £3,502,529.
